Job Description:
Process and manage client payroll via ADP/Paychex, ensuring accuracy in entries, audits, reports, and compliance with payroll standards.
Responsibilities – Payroll:
- Maintain client’s payroll databases for new hires, terminations, direct deposits, manual checks, accruals, garnishments and rate changes utilizing our Workflow Software;
- Assist in auditing time and attendance records and communicating to clients to educate them on our standards and processes
- Importing/entering records into both ADP and Paychex for time and attendance to maintain timely payroll processing; inclusive of tips, meal break penalties, hours, rates, and other required payroll information
- Submit previews and development audits for our clients to review prior to final submissions
- Maintain the pay period, quarterly and annual folders of payroll reporting per client including period end journal entries
- Handle workers comp audit reporting as they occur.
Skills / Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively with both clients and teammates
- Ability to manage projects and assignments with extreme accuracy and efficiency: detail oriented.
- Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Introductory knowledge of accounting principles/practices
- Proficient with spreadsheet and word processing applications
- Proficient with Payroll Systems
Requirements
- An Associate’s Degree in accounting, business, finance or related field or equivalent experience is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- With at least 2 years experience in doing payroll.
- Open to Junior and Senior level.
- Prior internship / work experience is a plus
- Prior experience in using Payroll Systems is a MUST
- Background in the restaurant industry is not required (FOH, BOH, Management), however, experience is a plus.
- Candidate must be willing to work onsite in Baguio City, Benguet or Tuguegarao. (applicants must be willing to relocate).
- Willing to work on a Graveyard Shift from 12 midnight to 9 am.
