DESCRIPTION OF ROLE
A great opportunity to work in a high profile position for one of our US clients.
- Oversee and manage all accounting for a high-profile and demanding client.
- Coordinate data processing received/timing with the India office.
- Prepare and analyze more complex financial statements.
- Detail analysis of general ledger accounts.
- Be able to direct and assist in a variety of areas, including but not limited to:
- Reconcile bank accounts for multiple bank and credit card accounts.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documents.
- Invoice and maintain accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain detailed schedules of all balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules.
- Special Projects
- Assist with the transition of client books:
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts.
- Recreate financials for previous periods when necessary.
- Convert the client’s data from their existing accounting software to Restaurant365 software.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accountancy or a related field, at a minimum, CPA preferred.
- 5-7 or more years of experience; Hospitality Industry experience is a plus.
- Must have experience working in a high-volume environment.
- Must be extremely strong in general ledger as well as bank reconciliations.
- Must have experience using QuickBooks.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Shared services experience a plus.
- Must be available to work shifts covering client’s daytime business hours (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Time M-F).
- Multi-tasking ability is a must, as this position handles numerous diverse clients.
- Must have excellent written and verbal English language communication skills.
- Desirable software experience: R365, Compeat, CTUIT RADAR
