Work Schedule & Location
- Tuesday to Saturday, 5 AM – 2 PM Ph time
- Onsite either in our Tuguegarao City or Baguio office
The Senior Accountant will serve as a key contributor to the Accounting team, with primary responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting monthly close activities. This role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional who can work independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has strong GL experience, advanced reconciliation skills, and preferably a background using Restaurant365. Key Responsibilities – Own and maintain the General Ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP and company policies. – Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations, including high-volume and complex balance sheet accounts. – Perform detailed GL variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and provide clear explanations and resolutions. – Ensure all GL transactions are supported, documented, and recorded in accordance with established standards. – Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, adhering to the established monthly close schedule. – Review income statements and balance sheet accounts and resolve issues as part of the monthly close process. – Assist in the preparation of various financial and operational reports as needed. – Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. – Assist with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as assigned. Qualifications – At least 5 years of corporate accounting experience with strong exposure to General Ledger functions. – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience. – Strong experience in preparing and reviewing GL account reconciliations. – Restaurant365 experience preferred but not required – Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and financial modeling. – Experience with corporate and sales tax is a plus. – Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. – Willingness to initially work a 12 Midnight – 9 AM Ph on the first month during training, then transition to a dayshift schedule 5 AM – 2 PM Tuesday to Saturday. – Ability to work onsite at Tuguegarao or Baguio office.
